InvolveUS ("the App") is a tool designed to help users identify their elected representatives, track legislation, and stay informed about civic activity at the federal and state levels. We take privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how that information is used, and your rights regarding that information.

The App does not require you to create an account. We do not store user profiles, authentication data, or passwords.
All personal data (your address, interests, and saved bills) is stored locally on your device only using secure operating-system–level storage (AsyncStorage). We do not collect or store your personal information. Requests to third-party data providers are routed through a Cloudflare Worker proxy operated by InvolveUS, but that proxy does not log or retain your data.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is deleted from your device.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that information has been collected from a minor, please contact us so we can remove it.
The App may include links to external government websites (e.g., representatives' official pages, bill text, or legislative portals). These websites are operated independently of InvolveUS. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Because all personal data remains on your device, security is primarily provided by your device's operating system. The App does not transmit or store your personal information on our servers.
